The clients hired us after a fraudulent green card application was denied. Like some young immigrants, they obtained wrong advice from family members. This wrong advice led the husband to submit a green card application to USCIS in a different name and birth date.
We firstly studied the husband’s immigration records and assessed whether he had a chance of winning a waiver case. We then filed the I-601 waiver in April 2022. The clients received an interview notice in October 2022. The firm prepared the clients for their interview and they were interviewed earlier this month. The I-601 waiver was approved on November 8, 2022!
We were all surprised by the speed of approval in this case and thankful for the opportunity to help this couple!
