McBean Law, PLLC is a New York, Westchester-based immigration law firm that represents clients in the United States and across the globe.
McBean Law founder, LaToya McBean Pompy, immigrated to the United States from Jamaica, West Indies at the age of six. One pro bono case sparked the fire within Attorney McBean Pompy to start McBean Law.
The case involved a nine year-old boy from El Salvador who made the dangerous journey to the U.S. after his father was brutally murdered for resisting a gang’s initiation efforts. This was Attorney McBean Pompy’s first immigration case. She prepared an asylum case for her young client and represented him in immigration court in Manhattan. She later helped his mother and brother with their asylum claims.
Attorney McBean Pompy desired to help even more immigrants find their freedom in the U.S. With the help of her popular YouTube channel, McBean Immigration TV, she is able to impact even more immigrants worldwide.
