Pay: $115,000 – $150,000 per year

Job Summary 

McBean Law is seeking a seasoned Office & Operations Manager to serve in a senior management role with the firm. You will lead a dedicated team of 30 professionals includingassociates, administrative staff, paralegals, legal assistants, and others.

Responsibilities 

  • Team Leadership & Human Resources: Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of 30. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from performance reviews to conflict resolution. 
  • Operations: Audit our current workflows and create new procedures to increase efficiency at our White Plains office and global teams.  
  • Recruitment: Identify and hire talent who share our mission-driven mindset. 
  • Financial Oversight: Review monthly reports, manage vendor relationships, and monitor firm KPIs to ensure we remain healthy and sustainable. 
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain the physical office environment, ensuring that our culture is welcoming for clients and collaborative for staff. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management or related field (master’s preferred). 
  • Experience: 7+ years in operations or office management, with at least 3-5 years specifically in a law firm environment.  
  • Technical Skills: Knowledgeable in client case management and CRM software. 
  • Leadership: At least 2 years’ experience in a senior-level management role.

The salary range for this role considers many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individual’s skills, U.S. experience, qualifications, work location, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors noted. 

A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work at our White Plains office is: 

$115,000 – $150,000 per year (plus discretionary year-end bonus)
