Immigrant Visa Approved for Daughter!

We love this story because it shows that it’s possible to take control over your immigration journey!

Client had her first consultation with Attorney McBean Pompy in June 2020

At the time, she was 34 years old and finishing up an educational program in her Caribbean country.

She wasn’t ready to move to the US.

Her US citizen father filed for her in August 2011, and her case was approved in March 2012

Her visa became available but she decided to slow down her immigration process so that she may focus on other priorities in her life.

Each year, she contacted the National Visa Center to keep her case active until she was ready to relocate to the US.

When she met with Attorney McBean Pompy, the biggest problem was that her petitioner-dad was not residing in the US.

He was actually working for a foreign company and infrequently visited the US.

He was living and working in the Bahamas

This was a problem because the petitioner must be domiciled in the US during the embassy process.

She started her case with us when she was ready to immigrate.

We worked with her father to re-establish domicile here in the states.

We also addressed other issues that they were facing at the time.

She was interviewed at the embassy in Nassau (Bahamas) on February 21, 2023 and approved for the visa!

P.S. Every case is different. Past successes do not guarantee similar future outcomes. Consult with a licensed immigration lawyer to discuss your unique situation.
